Mullahoran on top in Killnaleck
Mullahoran 2.09 Ramor United 0.12

Mullahoran's goals, one in each half ensured a win in this Senior Championship encounter in Killnaleck on Saturday evening last 19/6/04. Ramor started well and raced into a four point to one lead. The first of Philip Brady's goals near half time began their revival. By half time the scores were level Ramor 0.5 Mullahoran 1.2.

The second half began with Mullaghoran going into a three point lead. Ramor woke up and levelled the match mid-way through the half. Mullaghoran had a man sent off for two bookable offences on forty-five minutes. With a quarter of an hour to go and the game level and Ramor with a man up one would think Ramor could go on to win the game. However, up popped that man again Philip Brady and broke through the Ramor defence to send an unstoppable shot past Francie Conway to the net. Ramor tried gallantly for the remainder of the match but could not close the gap. To make matters worse Ramor had Ray Cole sent off for an altercation following what appeared to be an elbow charge by a Mullaghoran forward.
