Longstone take
the points in Ramor Park Longstone made the long journey from the Mournes on Sunday last and deservedly went away from Virginia with a victory. The game was played in excellent conditions in Ramor Park. Corner forward C Doran was Longstone's chief scorer with three excellent strikes in the first half. Despite a great opening half hour by Ramor full-forward Martin Tynan, who scored six of his teams total for the day Longstone held a five point to four advantage at the break. Longstone upped the ante in the second half and despite the fact that the home side played their hearts out until the end the visitors were too strong and ran out winning by five points.
