Knockbride
best in SFC relegation play-off After trailing by 0-5 to 0-2 at the break, Knockbride were a transformed side in the second-half and with the Reilly brothers Peter and Larry - to the fore they finished some excellent moves to run out worthy winners on a scoreline of 0-14 to 0-8. This was without doubt Knockbride's best performance of the season, and it came at an opportune time. They seemed to have a greater hunger for success on this occasion, especially in the second-half when they dominated proceedings. Ramor Utd. to their credit battled gamely, and looked in the opening half they could go on and win the game. Now they have to defeat Ballymachugh if they are to avoid playing I.F.C. football next season, and if they can tighten up in a few areas should be good enough to overcome the Ballymachugh challenge.
