Gowna 1.8 Ramor United 0.9

Ramor made the long trip to Loch Gabhna to play Gowna in the Senior and Junior League brace of matches on Sunday afternoon last 8th May. While both Ramor teams put up a sterling performances Ramor came home with no points.

The first half of the senior game was even enough with just one point separating the sides at the interval. The score was Ramor five points to Gownas six. In the second half Ramor upped the performance and drew level half way through the match. A goal strike by Gownas Ciaran Fitzpatrick broke the visiting supporters hearts and put some distance between the sides again. Points from Paddy McNamee and Stephen Connolly put Ramor within a point on fifty six minutes. A break upfield and a well-taken point put the finishing touch to a home win.

As was mentioned Gowna just about shaded the junior game as well.
