Drumgoon 1-12
Ramor United 1-5

Drumgoon progressed to the Cavan ACFL Division 2 final with a margin of seven points. This game was played in Saint Ann's Park, Bailieborough in bright sunshine, despite the November chill.
Drumgoon playing nice combination football, got off to the best possible start. They had nine points on the board in the first twenty minutes before Ramor united had their opening score. Aoghan Cahill the Ramor United half-foward opened the East Cavan sides scoring with points in the 25th and 26th minutes of the half.
In the closing minutes of the half, David McDonnell latched onto a breaking ball and scored a fine individual goal to give life to Ramor's challenge.
The first half closed on the scoreline of Drumgoon 0-9 Ramor United 1-2.
Ramor United opened the second half with a point from Paddy McNamee in the 12th minute. Ramor were then reduced to 14 men following the sending off of Philip Kermath for a foul on E. Jackson. Keith Fannin from Drumgoon scored a long range point in the 15th minute of the half. Paddy McNamee replied with a good Ramor point.
A through ball from midfield split the Ramor defence open and found it's way to A.Crossan who struck the ball low and hard to the back of the net.
This proved to be the deciding score of the game. The tie became very scrappy in the last quarter with players on both sides been booked.
In the last few minutes of the match Drumgoon went on to score two further points to Ramor's single effort.
Drumgoon are a good, fast young side and given the expanses of Breffni Park will test Ballinagh in the forthcoming Division 2 League decider.
