Castlerahan
on top in Local Derby The first half was fairly even with both marksmen Daniel Lynch for Castlerahan and Keith Soden on song. Castlerahan shaded the scores with seven points to Ramor's five. The game livened up in the second half with an urgency about Ramor that was lacking heretofore. Alan Farrelly playing in an unfamiliar role as corner-forward rattled the Castlerahan net in the forty sixth minute to put the home side ahead by one point. Castlerahan introduced Cian Mackey at this stage and the results were immediate. He swung over two great points and tantalised the Ramor defence. Mickey Caldwell got the defining score on fifty-seven minutes when he shot low and hard to the Ramor net. Castlerahan deserved their win as they finished the fitter and stronger side. Both teams may have to meet again if results don't go their way in the relegation play-offs. Teams and scorers: Castlerahan:
