Ballymachugh V Ramor United - 22nd May 2004

Ramor United were away to Ballymachugh on Saturday evening last 22nd May 2004 in the Senior Division I and 1a Leagues. The weather was beautiful. Ramor lined out without half a dozen regulars because of exams and injuries.

The first half was score for score without either team gaining major advantage. At the interval Ballymachugh were ahead by a single point.

In the second half Ramor showed their true form. Goals by Dermot Tynan and Donnagh Courtney killed the home teams spirits and Ramor went on to win on a scoreline of Ramor Utd. 2.12 Ballymachugh 0.7.

In the junior match the scores were even six points apiece five minutes from the end. A magic strike by veteran forward Martin Lynch rattled the Ballymachugh net and ensured victoty . The final score Ramor United 1.5 Ballymachugh 0.6.
