Beautiful sunshine greeted the Ballyhaise teams and followers to Ramor Park last Sunday afternoon 15th May for round six of the Cavan Senior and Junior B Leagues.
Ballyhaise put in a much better second half than the home side and went away with both points.

The first half was nip and tuck with Ballyhaise going into an early four points to one lead in the first ten minutes. Ramor's best attacker on the day Peter Monaghan reeled them in with four superb strikes before the McCruddens Barry and full-forward Gerry restored their lead. Points from Shane Cole and Peter Monaghan meant that Ramor went in at the interval with a one-point lead. The half time score line was Ramor 0.7 Ballyhaise 0.6.

The second half was even for the first quarter with both teams firing over three points apiece. Ballyhaise finished strongly with winning strikes from James Brady and two from Eamon Costello. The final score was Ballyhaise 0.12 Ramor United 0.10.

This was a good sporting game of football played at a very fast pace in a sweltering heat.
