Mullahoran 1.15 Ramor United 2.11
Ramor Seniors were
beaten by a single point by Mullahoran in this Senior League encounter
played in ideal conditions in Ramor Park on Sunday evening last.
Ramor had the best of the play in the first half and deservedly led by
six points at the break. Anton Reilly Scored the crucial goal.
The second half started well with a superb goal strike by young Ramorman
Adrian Cole. However, Ramor lost a man to a second yellow card five minutes
into the half and played the remainder of the match with fourteen men.
Mullahoran also made a couple of inspired substitutions, one of which
was Philip Brady who scored a crucial goal. Their championship fitness
stood to them in this period also. They went on to win the game by a single
point. Ramor must continue positively to prepare for a Senior Championship
relegation showdown next weekend against Bailieboro. A large Ramor attendance
would be appreciated.
