Both sides were very anxious to collect the points from this game, but it was Ramor Utd who emerged wnners on a score-line of 0-16 to 1-9. The game was played in blustery conditions in Crosskeys on Wednesday evening last in front of a large crowd. Denn were first to the scoreboard with a point from Colin Kiernan, then Aodghan Cahill replied for Ramor. Kiernan was on song for Denn a minute later with a well taken goal. However, Ramor clawed back with two frees from Keith Soden. Denn had a period of dominance with scores from Dean Hyland, (two frees), and a point from Owen Mc Philips. Ramor settled from the 18th minute and scored 6 points without reply, coming from Jack Brady (2), Ado Cole (2) and Keith Soden, a free and a 45. The half time score was Ramor 0-10 to Denn's 1-4.

The second half began with an Ado Cole point for Ramor, before Dean Hyland converted a free. Jack Brady and Stefan Connolly edged Ramor ahead with a point a piece. Owen Mc Phillips added one from play in the 12th minute. Aodghan Cahill and Keith Soden converted a free each. Denn then upped their game a little and piled on the pressure. They narrowed the gap by three, scores coming from Hubert Smith and Dean Hyland. The last score of the game was a fisted point from Ado Cole, to leave a full time score of Ramor; 0-16 Denn; 1-9.
