Ramor entertained Sliabh Glah Gaels in the Minor League Division 2, on Wednesday last.

In a good open entertaining game of football Ramor emerged victorious on a scoreline of 3-10 to 2-8.

The game opened with a point from Christopher Sheils, followed by one from Jack Brady. Sliabh Glah replied with two to even up the sides. In the 12th minute Greg Kerrigan found the back of the visitors net.Once again Sliabh Glah replied with three unanswered points. Ramor took control of the game at this stage scoring 1-5 without reply.Jack Brady scored a long range point, followed by two from Greg Kerrigan and one from Christopher Sheils. Full forward Kevin Cole was dangerous, scoring a goal and a point coming up to half time. Sliabh Glah scored a point on the stroke of half time to leave the scor at Ramor; 2-7, Sliabh Glah 0-6.

Ramor continued their domination with two points from Jack Brady, one a free, and a good point from play from Christopher Sheils.In the 10th minute Sliabh Glah found the back of the Ramor net and followed this with two points. Ramor replied with a goal from Christopher Sheils, after good work by Damien Barkey. Sliabh Glah responded with a goal and a point, but it was too little, too late as referee Felim O’Reilly blew the final whistle. Ramor 3-10. Sliabh Glah 2-8.
