Ramor Senior football team travelled to Killinkere on Sunday 21st May, the wet Sunday and had no trouble getting the points as they came out easy winners with a score of 3 - 7 to Killinkere's 2 - 4. Ramor had scored 2 -2 before Killinkere got going and in the lashing rain it was impossible for them to catch up. Ramor had some great scores from Shane Cole Peter Monaghan Daragh Sheridan Barry Fitzsimons
Mikie Keating and Paddy McNamee.
Killinkere's marksmen were James Clarke Paul Kerr and Philip Caldwell.
The rain made conditions very slippery and on a better day it may have been a more evenly fought contest.
