Ramor started this game fast and furious, Peter Monaghan had the ball over the bar inside the first minute, Shane Cole had another in the second minute. In the fourth minute Peter Monaghan added his second point and from a free in the fifth minute he scored his third point. Twelve minutes into the game a rasper of a shot from the left boot of Peter Monaghan into the Kill net left the score 1-4 to 0-0.
Kill battled hard and finally got on the scoreboard after 20 minutes. They rallied well up to half time getting three points on the scoreboard, one from Ray McGee one from Sean Gaffney and one from Pierce McKenna. Paddy McNamee got Ramors last score of the first half from a free leaving the score Ramor 1-5 Kill 0-3.

Ramor made changes in the second half
Stephen Monaghan replaced Anton O'Reilly and Aoghan Cahill replaced Mikie Keating. Kill were the first of the mark after the restart with a point from play by Conor McCarey. Shane Cole added a point for Ramor Paddy McNamee had another as did Aoghan Cahill from long range. Ramor introduced Ray Cole for Shane Gaffney and with his first touch had the ball in the Kill net to put the issue beyond doubt. Kill managed to get three points two of them from frees. Kill introduced some fresh legs at this stage Damien Harrington for John McGarry and Hugh Fitzpatrick for David Ward.
Paddy Mc.Namee got Ramors last two scores one goal and one point leaving the score Ramor 3-8 Kill 0-7.

Ramor also took the points in the 2a game. This was a very lively evenly fought contest until the last quarter when Ramor got the lucky breaks and hit the net twice to make the difference. Matthew Cahill being the star of the game. Final Score Ramor 2-7 Kill 0-8.
