Ramor United Annual General Meeting;

Ramor United G.F.C. held their 36th AGM on Sunday January 13th 2008 with an attendance of 108 members.

The following Officers were returned;

Presidents; Mick Higgins, Tommy Cullen, Philip O’Reilly, Bridie Cole, Myles Duffy, Michael Mullally Snr.,Fr.J.Cusack, Jim Brady(Lattoon), Frank Dolan, Owen Hanratty and Declan Mc Conn.

Under- Age Structure;

It was decided at the AGM that the Juvenile section of the Ramor Utd. Club known as Lurgan would no longer operate under that name. Instead, with immediate effect, all teams will be known as Ramor Utd.

In his address to the meeting, Chairman Gene Clancy recognised the wonderful achievements of the underage section of the club throughout the years and thanked all involved.

This will be a very busy year for Ramor Utd., as the club sets about the task of finishing construction of the new dressing rooms, the astra turf pitch, improvements of existing pitches, and of course preparing teams to collect some silverware! Good luck to everyone involved!

Training Times;

Management teams are currently being put in place, and training times and information will be available shortly.

Senior Team;

Ramor Utd. are delighted to welcome All Ireland medal winner P.J. Buckley as the new Senior Team manager.

P.J. is also an All Star winner and is a member of Dublin club Erins Isle.

Assisting P.J. will be Ciaran Macken, former Longford County player and holder of 2 Senior Championship medals with club Dromard.Completing the management team will be two former Cavan stars of the not too distant past; Paddy McNamee and Martin Lynch. All four will bring a wealth of experience and expertise, so the future looks very promising indeed.
